The Rainbow Dragon Lodge has always been a special part of my life. It has been my way of giving back to my community unconditionally the Spiritual teachings that I have received from my Elders. I have been so blessed to have the honor of studying under so many Traditional Medicine Men and Women. Learning the sacred path of the Heart.

Over the past 20 years I have been teaching here at the lodge which has been located in my home. First I taught and did workshops throughout the LA area but there came a time where I was instructed to bring the teachings home and begin circle gatherings. These circle gatherings were based on the teachings of the Medicine Wheel and the Seasons of the Celtic Wheel. Each of these paths shows us that we must honor all of life for all things are part of the same web. Each of us are mirrors for one another serving as powerful allies in our journey towards becoming our full potential. In this way I was told, I could provide a place in which people could come and feel safe and allow to be transformed by one another. The circle allows us to be touched by our human emotions; it allows us to see that we are “All related.”

Before the lodge existed I taught at various stores that required a fee. I found that there were many that could not afford to come because of the cost, this made me feel sad for no one should be turned away from the teachings of Creator. So, I decided to bring all my teachings to a place where all were welcome who had a desire to learn a more traditional and a more sacred path. My Husband and I manifested a home where we could build a large enough room where people could come together.

Leon Gilmore, Elder of the Cherokee Nation gave the lodge its first fire in hopes that all that gathered would honor the teachings as well as the circle. In so many ways we were blessed as many Elders and teachers came and taught here over the years unconditionally. It has been my family, my Medicine Elders of the Cherokee Nation, my Elders and Family of the Navajo Nation, as well as so many other Teachers and Circle friends who have supported this lodge and each other.

The sacred fires and prayers that have been held have supported those that have sought the path of Creator. The Lodge has always been here to support the circle and we have been blessed to have so many who give unconditionally. This Lodge has served for many as a form of a church and for others a way to reconnect to family. We have had are ups and our downs as all families do and we have had our disagreements and our successes. It has always been a labor of love, for each of us have grown through the mirrors that each held up for one another. I have seen so many that have gathered in these circles grow. It is a joy to see families come together at a gathering all ages honoring the Creator through the circle. What I have learned from the circle has changed my life. It has demonstrated that what we do to the web we do to ourselves. It has helped me be a responsible person and has provided me with a path that has filed my life with purpose and integrity. I have learned to listen to what real truth is and to honor all my relations. For this I am so grateful to all that have attended the lodge over the years, even if it has just been for a ceremony once a year. You have all been in the fire and all a part of the prayers of the circle.

Classes or Teachings will be presented each Month with each pertaining to a lesson that reflects a mirror for understanding and growth. Through stories and teachings that pertain to each direction and season we will explore the powerful teachings that our Ancestors used to help us become aware and responsible humans.

From time to time I will offer special events outside of cyber space and if you wish to attend these events you will be able to sign up. I will also be doing Vision Quest and Special Workshops in Reiki and The Melchizedeck Method as well as other types of Lectures and Workshops to be offered in the up coming year.
